Anu P. Bowman | DARPA Transition and Commercialization Support Program
Ms. Bowman has over 30 years of experience in technology transition and commercialization; broad based R&D development, business development as well as small business new starts. She has applied her extensive experience with technology development, transition and management in the Federal, private industry, non-profit, and small business arenas.
She has been managing the DARPA Transition and Commercialization Support Program since 2011.
Her experience also includes technology development for radiological and nuclear detection systems, hyperspectral and multispectral systems, advanced electro-optics programs, solid-state laser systems, space based payload development, and remote-sensing systems. She has held positions with Science Applications International Corporation, the Department of Homeland Security, and as a consultant for the DARPA SIGMA Program.
Ms. Bowman has a B.Sc. degree in Physics and Astronomy and a Master’s degree with a specialization in Remote Sensing from the University of Maryland.
